"Your personality is not set in stone. You can always develop to be a better version of yourself. Let your personality shine from within" – Asad Meah
Are you angry always? Do you think your anger is abnormal? Is anger affecting your personal and professional life? Are you not able to control your anger when you need to?
Anger is a natural response to perceived threats. It causes your body to release adrenaline, your muscles to tighten and your heart rate and blood pressure to increase. Your senses might feel more acute and your face and hands flushed. However, anger becomes a problem only when you don't manage it in a healthy way. We get angry about what is happening in the world around us. It is our internal response to external stressors. Common emotions known to trigger anger are anxiety, shame, sadness, fear, frustration, guilt, disappointment, worry, embarrassment, jealousy and hurt. Anger becomes a problem when you have trouble controlling it, causing you to say or do things you regret. Anger is expressed in one of four ways. Three out of the four types are unhealthy manifestations: aggressive, passive-aggressive and suppressive. While only one, assertive is healthy. Most people remain consistently in one or two categories depending on the circumstances. A 2010 study found that uncontrolled anger is bad for your physical and emotional health. It can also quickly escalate to verbal or physical violence, harming you and those around you.
